Food production changes are urgently needed to meet global climate, water and nature goals. The farming practices, technologies and inputs required are increasingly well understood but adoption has been too slow. At the heart of the problem are the economic barriers and risks that individual farmers face, particularly in the early years of transition. In this session, Bain experts will share insights from a new report – 100 Million Farmers: Breakthrough Models for Financing a Sustainability Transition – published jointly with the World Economic Forum.
