  • 🎤 Denys Yatsyshyn, Director of Corporate Relations at the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council, will be speaking at the third session of the III Business & Legal Infrastructure Forum The session will cover critical topics, such as resolving investment disputes through national and international institutions, investing in international business, and the structural transformations needed to improve Ukraine's investment climate, including reforms, European integration, and anti-corruption efforts.   • 👏 USUBC Welcomes C. Priscilla Toffano as IMF's Permanent Representative in Ukraine On August 28th, the U.S.-Ukraine Business Council hosted a reception in Washington, D.C. to welcome Ms. Priscilla Toffano, the newly appointed permanent representative of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Ukraine. This event was an excellent opportunity for USUBC members to brief Ms. Toffano and her IMF colleague, Mr. Heiko Hesse, on their activities in Ukraine and present their views on the current developments and strategy for the future. 📌 The reception brought together leaders from various organizations and companies committed to supporting Ukraine, including APCO, CNH, CT Group, NOOSPHERE Ventures/EOS Data Analytics, Paradox Public Relations, PwC, Self., Slattery Strategy LLC, Squire Patton Boggs, and others. We were honored to host, among our guests, the representatives from key U.S. government agencies, including the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Transportation, and U.S. Department of Justice. We wish Ms. Toffano the most productive and successful tenure in Ukraine, and our members look forward to working closely with her and her IMF colleagues both in Kyiv and in Washington, DC!

  • 🇺🇦 Glory to Ukraine, Glory to Heroes! With this motto, USUBC, in partnership with hromadske.ua media, hosted an event dedicated to the 33rd Anniversary of Ukraine's Independence. This remarkable event provided an excellent platform for networking and strengthening ties between the USUBC business community and the esteemed guests, including Nathan Seifert, Senior Commercial Officer and Sarah Nickel, Deputy Senior Commercial Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine; Theodora Dell, the Deputy Mission Director of USAID Ukraine; Rolf M. Hay Pereira Holmboe, the Head of the EU Advisory Mission to Ukraine; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain to Ukraine, H.E. Mr. Ricardo Lopez-Aranda Jagu; the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Belgium to Ukraine, H.E. Mr. Luc JACOBS; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Ukraine H.E. Mr. Alle Tammo Sytse Dorhout, representatives of the Government of Ukraine, Office of the President of Ukraine, as well as top diplomats, partners, and representatives of U.S. and Ukrainian businesses. Guests honored the fallen heroes and paid tribute to Ukraine's Armed Forces.  🎶 The event's heartfelt atmosphere was enhanced by the colorful folk band ShchukaRyba, which brought the spirit of Ukraine to life through traditional music.
