Behavioural Science consultant, writer & trainer | Keynote speaker | Founder, People Patterns | Host of Talking Talks
A software firm increased email open rates by 20% and sales leads by 31% and a financial services training company increased engagement by 10%. How? 🤔 If you were one of 400 senior marketers at Intuit Mailchimp’s From Here:To There conference, you already know the answer. In one case it had to do with adding CEO to the sender’s address and in another, a first name to the subject line. If you are curious about what else I covered, marketing news site B&T have recapped highlights from my session. Journalist Aimee Edwards has done a great job of revealing some of my secrets 🙃 “In a high-energy keynote at Intuit Mailchimp’s From Here, To There Conference, Bri Williams, managing director and behavioural expert at People Patterns, took attendees on a journey through time and behaviour, advocating that the core principles of marketing remain unchanged, even as the tools and technologies evolve.” 👉 Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/gaKCtGyQ Thanks to Camelia Vasile 🌺 Sophie Dumont Elizabeth Elkington Claudia Lordao and professional photographer Sophie Geraghty for capturing some of the fun, along with Rattan Muttoo Renata Hjelmström Emma DiGiacomo Nidhi Sharma Kimberlin Education and others for their lovely feedback. Thanks also to Jillian Ryan LaShanda Jackson Michelle Taite Rania Succar and the Bearded Kitten team for having me involved. #behaviouralscience #emailmarketing #conversion

Marketers: Chances are, you’re wondering how Apple’s Mail Privacy Protection may affect your marketing. It’s a good question! 🤔 Here’s what you need to know: • Mailchimp can tell which emails were opened by Apple MPP and which were not. You can exclude the impacted open-related metrics from your reports for emails sent on or after June 22 • Metrics impacted: - Opens - Open rates - Unique opens - Clicks per unique opens - Total opens • MPP can be used by anyone on an Apple device with email set up on the Apple Mail app • Opens and open-related metrics don’t apply to SMS Wanna dig in even more? 📈 Dive into our full help article.
