📣LG Water Solutions announced the successful completion of the Reliability Test Run at the Barka V IWP Desalination Plant in Oman, officially starting its 25-year operation period on June 22, 2024. The plant near Muscat exceeded expectations by completing its final performance test early and meeting its water capacity target of 105,000 m³/d. It will serve 800,000 residents with high-quality drinking water, replacing older desalination plants with advanced reverse osmosis technology. Under a Build-Own-Operate model, the project involved LG Water Solutions supplying over 9,000 SWRO membranes.
