Happy SMEs Day! 🥳 Today we celebrate all micro, small and medium-sized businesses. There are a lot of them in the UK... 5.6 million in fact 😯 They equate to 99.9% of the business population and account for around half of the turnover in the private sector. And 3.1 million of those 5.6 million businesses are sole proprietorships… Which is 56% of the UK business population! We’ve just launched new updates to Tax Pots 🚀 Earlier this year, we launched Tax Pots, a separate and secure place for our customers to save for their tax bills. But we’ve been working hard to make it bigger and better… Now our customers can automatically save a percentage of their income for tax in just a few taps. It takes the stress out of saving because they can set up how much they’d like to auto transfer and forget about it. We’ll move the money every time they’re paid. 💰 And to top it off, we’ve also added the ability for customers to see if they’re on track with their tax estimate. It shows them how much they need to save. If they need to save more, they can do so in a few taps. Exciting times! These updates will help our customers confidently save for their tax bill and eliminate guesswork about how much they need to put aside. 📲 Updates are now live in the app and ready to use!
