💫 The ‘halo effect’ is true with this project, in 2018, we anticipated a 2.5-billion-dollar economic impact over the next 20 years – Ben Brezina, Assistant City Manager, City of Frisco
⛳ The blend of golf and entertainment has opened the sport up to a completely new audience. There’s so much opportunity for interaction between people – they can go from the resort to the entertainment district to the golf courses, and it creates this cool, active environment. It’s a unique place where they can make memories that are going to last forever. – Beau Welling, Founder and CEO, Beau Welling Design
⭐ Our mission was to help define the vision, the big idea/dream of what this was going to be. We were marrying an amalgamation of great ideas on a large-scale, with a destination resort, with golf. This was such a special project to work on, we had such a great vision, and the leadership, from all stakeholders were trying to do something incredibly impactful. Not just locally, but worldwide for the game of golf. - Bruce Wright, AIA, LEED AP, Managing Principal, 10SB (previously SB Architects)
🏌♂️ Golf is a lifestyle, and it doesn’t stop at the 18th hole, it’s all about the social that follows. With the F&B venues, we wanted to bring that same feeling through. The design has a sense of place, it exudes the local culture in every element. Tim Rooney, Partner, Jeffrey Beers International
💡 The idea, the vision, the design, and even the property, was expansive. Our approach was certainly unique - as the contractor our aim was to make the idea buildable, something that we could go and execute, in a very defined timeline. In construction, we’re used to anticipating challenges, but this was unique. We were three weeks away from breaking ground when the pandemic hit. Thankfully, we managed, and a lot of thoughtfulness went into the plan to keeping the process moving! – Jason Weeks, Regional Vice President, Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC & Gorrie
🎇 The highlight has been the power of the partnerships and the teamwork. We designed and built this resort to be a top destination in the country. Experience-led tourism is becoming the norm, and expectation. We’ve tackled that head-on with the programming, we have exhibits coming in, holiday programming, movie nights, etc. We had over 5,000 guests at our 4th July event! The property team has done a great job of taking the spaces and activating them for the guests. – Brady Nix, Director of Construction, Omni Hotels & Resorts
