Yesterday, some of our Blackpool team got to enjoy the sunshine and ventured to Stanley Park for a fun (and rather competitive) game of rounders! A massive thank you to Danielle Finnigan for organising a fun day out! 💚 At Tandem, we believe offering our teams the opportunity for days out like this are essential for keeping morale high and a great way to connect with others away from the office environment. Last week, we had our annual family volunteering day at our corporate partner, Leighton Hall Lancashire's Estate. At Tandem, we believe in making a meaningful impact, both in our communities and the environment. What did we get up to in July? ✨ We took part in various volunteering experiences, including Blackpool Beach Cleans, team building at Leighton Hall Lancashire and a visit to the beautiful Quaint Farm!   ✨ In our Blackpool office, we held our own Foosball Football Tournament to celebrate the Euros – Netherlands won! (Bethany Cavanagh & Darren Mekwinski, well done 🤩)   ✨ All of our offices were able to enjoy a French breakfast to celebrate the Olympics – and even got to watch some! ✨ Team Tandem also took part in Tough Mudder to raise money for 4Louis, the Colour Run in Blackpool to raise money for Brian House & Trinity Hospice, Blackpool, as well as Race4Life to raise money towards Cancer Research UK (CRUK).   We have also completed a whopping 11,235 minutes of volunteering so far this year! What have we been up to? 🌿 As a collective, the people of Tandem have racked up a whopping 40 hours of charity volunteering so far! 🌿 As we reach the end of the 23/24 academic year, our Financial Education programme has officially reached 10,339 students - thanks to Andrew Hurst's wonderful hard work. 🌿 We're finalists for 2 BIBAs 2024: Skills Provider of the Year and Business of the Year! 🌿 Tandem Football Team took part in a football tournament with Sustainable Talent who raised over £1000 in total 🏆 #WeAreTandem #CorporatePartners #Community #Charity #Volunteering #Fundraising #BIBAs2024 #ESG #FinancialEducation

📚 Last week, our Education and Facilities Manager, Andrew Hurst, visited The Boathouse Youth Charity's new youth centre in Fleetwood to give a financial health check session for their new young leaders! 🗣️ "Even Laurance, the founder of BoatHouse Youth, took away some key bits of advice and has managed to save some money and make his money go further!"
