Why does SAF approval matter? ✔️ It aims to further raise industry professional standards and support compliance with the FCA’s new Consumer Duty. ✔️ Further builds customer trust and instils confidence. What do I need to do? 1. Register your company and have all customer facing staff complete the SAF Expert Test. 2. Complete, sign and return a compliance statement to the FLA. 3. 📈Strong H1 2024 results. Digital Consumer Bank (Santander’s consumer finance activity worldwide) continued to focus on converging towards a more digital global operating model, as well as building flexible term products, including leasing. - Total loans increased by +6% YoY Var. in constant euros to EUR 213 billion, with auto loans increasing +8% in a market that is starting to show signs of recovery. - New business volumes increased +8% YoY Var. to EUR 46.7 billion. - Attributable profit reached EUR 1,070 million, +4% YoY.
