5.5 tons of “ugly” yet perfectly edible fresh supplies were rescued by #TeamPSA! 😮👏 #TeamPSA, alongside volunteers from Fridge Restock Community, swooped in to save these food supplies at the Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre as part of PSA’s #GoGreenSG efforts. Fridge Restock Community is a ground-up volunteer group dedicated to rescuing "ugly" veggies and fruits to restock community fridges around Singapore and reduce food wastage. 🙌 Despite the heavy downpour, everyone was determined to make a difference and delivered the rescued supplies to six different locations within a few hours! 1.5 tons of these rescued supplies made their way to Punggol Community Centre, bringing smiles to 168 residents. From rooted veggies and leafy greens to spices, fruits, and canned treats, our volunteers sorted and shared it all with joy and enthusiasm. 🥕🥬🍎🍉🥫 Seeing the happy smiles on everyone’s faces and knowing they are making a positive impact is the best reward for our volunteers. #TeamPSA had an amazing day at St Luke's ElderCare Ltd's Telok Blangah Centre, guiding the seniors in crafting their own Roll-on oil dispensers using a mix of natural essential oils. 🤩   👵👴 The seniors were hands-on in liquefying hardened menthol crystals, stirring them continuously before adding drops of soothing lavender or refreshing orange essential oils to the mixture. These Roll-ons, with antibacterial and calming properties, are perfect for relaxation and stress relief.   The fun did not stop there! After a sumptuous buffet lunch, everyone enjoyed a lively karaoke session, singing their favourite songs together. 🎤🎶   What a wonderful day of creativity, learning, and joy! 😊 We are #AlwaysAlongside our community, striving to a positive difference to their lives. ❤️ #CSR #WeCanMoveTheWorld #YouCanMakeADifference #PSACares

#TeamPSA, alongside our customers and stakeholders swung into action at the 26th Golf Invitational last week for a meaningful purpose! The wonderful weather made the games even more enjoyable for everyone on the course. ☀🏌️♂️⛳️   A whopping total of $68,888 was raised for Lions Befrienders, one of the beneficiaries of PSA’s Health@Home #CSR efforts, to support the I-OK Ecosystem which uses technology to help seniors age in place. PSA’s Golf Invitational combines fun and games with purpose, uniting the industry to make a positive impact.
