At Your Way Home, we are committed to improving the perceived safety of women walking in Stockholm. A recent article from ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability titled “Rethinking Public Transportation for Women’s Safety and Security” highlights how lighting and crowds significantly influence women’s perceived safety in public space and transportation. Our initiatives align with these insights, focusing on practical solutions to address the unique safety needs of female commuters. Join us in our mission to create a safer public transportation system for everyone. Learn more about our efforts at yourwayhome.eu #WomenSafety #PublicTransport #YourWayHome #StockholmCommute🚶♀️🚍

✨ Advocating for Transportation Safety is Key ✨ Last week, we had a chance to present our startup at Innov4Mobility Winter School. We fielded questions left, right, and centre, and even the toughest ones sparked discussions and challenged us to think deeper and sharper! We also visited PCI · Creative Science Park Aveiro Region with the participants. From state-of-the-art facilities to a supportive community of innovators, it's a place to remember if you want to incubate and accelerate your startup in Portugal! Here's to a week of learning and connecting! Many thanks to EIT Urban Mobility and BGI - Sustainable Ventures for organizing this fantastic time 🚀

Together with our supporter, accilium, we ensure that our solution is crafted exactly how the users want it 👌. As the perception of safety is very subjective and complex, we gather feedback from various stakeholders. We try to understand what constitutes a safe environment for different social groups. Thanks, Meike Wenzl 🚀 for sharing with us your perspective on safety!
