Friday is growing - We are excited to share that we are now also present in southern Sweden!   For the past couple of weeks, we have finally established a Friday office in Malmö, where we will assist junior talents in IT/Tech to advance in their careers. On site and right next to Malmö University, you'll find Martin Palvin, Gabriella Bergström, Wilhelm Ögland, and Sofia Krook leading the establishment while awaiting Alexander Midholm, who will join us after the summer.   We're already engaged in several collaborations in the region and look forward to match ambitious IT/Tech profiles with our client companies.   Feel free to swing by for a coffee at our office - you'll find us at Nordenskiöldsgatan 11A, 211 19 Malmö.

Meet the talented members of ALPS ALPINE Europe Engineering Trainee program! Alps Alpine, one of the worlds premier manufacturers of electronic components for computers, communications and car electronics entrusted us to find top engineering talents in a range of fields to take part in their 2023 Trainee program.   The talents are in their second month of the 12-month program and it was great to meet up and play some boule after an intense introduction. The program will provide ongoing training and support in areas such as management, cyber security, agile methods and next gen car electronics for the participants to succeed in their individual roles. The ambition is for the talents to end the program with the opportunity to visit the Alps Alpine HQ in Tokyo, Japan.   We are thrilled to collaborate with Alps Alpine and we are excited to see how the individuals develop in the program. We wish you all the best of luck!

We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Aros electronics AB, experts in power electronics, motor, and drive technology.    Recently, in collaboration with Aros, we gathered 38 master’s students specializing in electrical engineering, mechatronics, and computer science for an enlightening event. The event included dinner, a quiz, a comprehensive introduction to the company, and an engaging tour around the facilities at Aros.    Aros is partnering with Friday to be matched with the right engineering talents and future employees. The selected talents will start with a master's thesis project before joining Aros' one-year talent program, offering an amazing opportunity to kickstart their careers at Aros. 

Excited to introduce the SEK Svensk Exportkredit IT Graduate Program 2023. Last month we welcomed the newly graduated talents to the SEK IT Graduate Program. Over the next coming months, together with SEK they will enhance their learnings with theory and practical work to propel their future careers forward. This week they participated in a workshop based around the Agile methodology to help prepare them for life at SEK. It was a fantastic day where everyone joined forces and worked together as a united team. Best of luck to all the participants as they embark on this journey!

Its graduation month! In January, 29 students joined Heart Aerospace to write their master theses. Over the coming weeks, they will share the results one presentation a day. I'm happy to share that I've just finished my first month as a Powertrain engineer. Thank you Friday for giving me this opportunity to be part of your Graduate Tech Talent program at Volvo Group GTT. Time has really flown by while working with continuous deployment within the Propulsion Software Factory. A big shoutout to my mentor as well as the entire CD and CI teams for supporting me during my onboarding and for being so including and fun to work with! I've especially enjoyed the problem solving parts of my new position, meeting so many engaged and competent co-workers and of course the fika and quizzes on Fridays.
