Sealord's efforts in sustainability - reducing our carbon footprint by 24% since 2019 - was recognised in Auckland last night. We were thrilled to win the Future Adaptation Award at the Seafood New Zealand Seafood Star Awards, alongside fisherman Dom T., the founder of Advanced Conservation Solutions (ACS). Chief Executive Officer Doug Paulin says the win is meaningful for the entire Sealord whānau. “When we say that sustainability is important to us, we really mean it. We have three to five-year targets that apply to the whole business, to reduce carbon emissions, minimise water usage, reduce landfill and maximise recycling. It’s not always easy to change things, to reduce adverse impacts on the environment, and it's been a real team effort by everyone in our business." Sealord is proud to support kaupapa Māori health provider Te Piki Oranga as they celebrate their 10th anniversary this month.     In this photo, our kaimahi Annabel Scaife was happy to donate Sealord hoki to Te Piki Oranga kaimahi Hamish Brown. The hoki was enjoyed as part of a celebratory kai for kaimahi and whānau at the Whakatū tari on 1 July, anniversary day.     Keep up the great mahi Te Piki Oranga! #sealord #doingbetter
