Indian cricket fans are a superstitious lot! And after the last World Cup, we didn’t want take any chances. In true Indian fashion, we made a plan to ward off the evil eye with a little nimbu mirchi for our cricket team that we posted before every match. The more matches we won, the more nimbu mirchis were added. We asked everyone to share nimbu mirchis with their friends to keep the good vibes going. While it is the blood, sweat, tears & talent of our men in blue which brought the World Cup home after 11 years, we can’t help but smile at our own little effort to channel our excitement & spread positivity 🧿
