Congratulations to our colleagues, Pat, Kim Adrienne, and Conor, who have been shortlisted for Breakthrough of the Year at The Apples Awards for their project, Perception, as part of Food Integrity Global 2024. This project was executed in collaboration with Creme Global, a leading Irish data science company, and CeADAR Ireland, Ireland’s Centre for Applied AI. The project was supported by funding from the Disruptive Technologies Innovation Fund, an initiative of the Irish Government administered by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment. This project looks at the use of sensory technology and AI to create a digital connection between the consumer, the food scientist and the factory floor to enable real time product development in a cost efficient and sustainable manner. These achievements and contributions in the industry have truly stood out, and we believe the Science & Innovation team at Dawn Farms deserve this recognition for their dedication to excellence, innovation, and responsible development.
