    "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩" 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝟒𝟎 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐱𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 To nurture talents and bring new impetus to the local construction industry, the Chevalier Group established the Chevalier Group Scholarship in 2018 for full-time Vocational Training Council students in the Engineering disciplines. A presentation ceremony was held earlier to present scholarships to the 40 awardees for the 2023-2024 academic year, accumulating the number of benefitted students in six years to 240 with a total of HK$6 million awarded since then. Representatives from various departments of the Chevalier Group, VTC representatives and lecturers attended the presentation ceremony, sharing the insightful personal stories and the joyful moment with the awardees. Looking forward, the Chevalier Group will continue our close collaborative with the VTC in cultivating young engineering talents to boost the supply of skilled manpower and respond to the pressing needs of the economic transformation and technological advancement in Hong Kong.     𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 As the Strategic Partner of the "Future Step-Up" programme under New World Development's Share for Good initiative, the Chevalier Group recently hosted an engaging five-day summer programme at the headquarters for high school students. As an initiative under the “Future Step-Up” Programme, with the aim to provide comprehensive career guidance and diverse internship opportunities to enable young individuals to plan for their future at an early stage, this summer programme featured the latest technology in construction. Students were coached by related engineering professionals from various engineering departments. Throughout the week, the young people explored the latest advancements in construction technology. They toured the Group’s Lifts and Escalators Department and delved into innovative topics like Modular Integrated Construction (#MiC), Building Information Modeling (#BIM) and the Smart Site Safety System (#4S), etc. The students also got hands-on experiences to try their hand at 3D printing and even engaged in virtual reality (#VR) training focused on construction site safety.     The "9th Golden Age Expo and Summit" Hosted at the HKCEC Has Concluded Successfully We are delighted to share that the Ventria Residence team had the privilege of participating in the recently concluded "9th Golden Age Expo and Summit" held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. At the event, we had the opportunity to share our insights on the concept of Continuous Care Retirement Communities (CCRC) with the public. We also engaged in in-depth discussions with industry leaders on the central theme of "Smart Aging, Sustainability, and Opportunities". We are also grateful for the visit of Ms. Winnie Ho, the Secretary of Housing, Dr Bernard Chan, Under Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development,  and Ms. Charmaine Lee, the Director of Social Welfare, to the Ventria Residence booth. It is our sincere hope that these conversations will help inject more innovative ideas into Hong Kong's elderly care landscape. As the main contractor, Chevalier (Construction) will be responsible for the construction work which includes a 25-storey high composite building with a 22-storey residential tower on a 3-storey podium for carpark, retail and clubhouse. SS M518) was held earlier at the headquarters of the Architectural Services Department (ArchSD). Senior management and the project team of ArchSD and Chevalier-China Railway Construction Joint Venture came together to celebrate this major milestone of the LPH projects. Upon project completion starting from Q1 2025 to Q4 2025, the three projects located in Yau Pok Road, Yuen Long, Tuen Mun Area 3A and Choi Hing Road, Ngau Tau Kok will altogether provide over 6,300 units to help alleviate Hong Kong's housing needs. In his remarks, Mr Kuok encouraged our young colleagues to be brave to make decisions, take on diverse responsibilities and embrace learning from their mistakes. The two-hour session saw an interactive and fruitful sharing featuring below highlights: • Group sharing from colleagues with experience ranging from three to over 20 years, covering various areas such as quantity survey, tendering, contract management, etc • Individual sharing of the journey rising from an apprentice to a senior building services engineer • Sharing from an awardee of the Chevalier Group Scholarship from the Vocational Training Council, who was also an intern of Chevalier (Construction) • An introduction of pathways to pursue professional quantity surveying qualifications by Mr Rowson Lee, the former Chairman of the Asia Education and Standard Board of RICS The event ended on a high note with a safety quiz session, which strengthened our colleagues' site safety awareness in a convivial atmosphere.
