We were delighted to welcome a delegation from Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU), led by Party Secretary Mr Jianjun Lu, to ASTRI. Our CEO, Dr Denis Yip 葉成輝, along with the R&D team, greeted the delegation. Our new Chief Technology Officer, Dr Ying Huang, showcased our innovative technological achievements and collaboration progress with Mainland China. Dr Chen Jung Tsai, our Chief Director of IoT Sensing and AI Technologies, highlighted our core technologies in smart cities, intelligent manufacturing, and digital health. We also presented our efforts in promoting close cooperation among government, industry, academia, and research. Both parties exchanged insights on technological innovation, talent recruitment, and technology transfer, exploring future collaboration opportunities. With strong capabilities in fundamental research, XJTU, one of the China’s top universities, has recently established the Xi'an Jiaotong University Hong Kong Research Institute to attract high-calibre talent and promote technology transfer.
