Meet the team! Next up is Emil Eldevig, a member of our partner relations team in the Danish office. Emil is a lively and adventurous person with stories that could fill a book. His travels, both personal and professional, have taken him all over the world, but one of the most incredible moments was when he returned to Colombia and reconnected with his biological mother after 30 years. That reunion was just the beginning—Emil ended up staying in Colombia for a total of 3.5 years, where he dove into the local start-up scene and became part of the team that launched a brand called Maka- Design in Balance! Emil also has a strong academic background, with a Master’s in International Business and a solid grounding in economics. This blend of life experiences and education has fueled his passion for business development, especially in the start-up world. We’re so happy that Emil made the move to Denmark to join our team. He’s the perfect addition! Over the last two days, we had the pleasure of hosting two masterclasses with BDO, led by Mads Juul Hansen, Arne Riis, Henrik Mølgaard, Niels Schiander and Frederik Mølkjær. Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge! It was great to bring our partners together for a deep dive into investments, transactions, tax, valuations, and what drives them. Who is CVX Ventures? You might be familiar with our posts about the many exciting companies we support throughout the year or our talented partners who are part of our business angel network. But what about CVX? We’d like to introduce you to our team! The first person you should meet is Kasper Hermes Olsen! Kasper is our newly appointed team leader in the Partner Relations department at our Danish office. He is originally from Jutland, where he previously ran his own business and was an entrepreneur for several years. With both a bachelor's degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and experience as a founder, Kasper has a deep passion for and understanding of all things startup-related. He has personally gone through the entire journey from idea to reality, making him well-equipped to guide both our partners and portfolio companies. In addition to founding a football club, Kasper has worked extensively with sustainability and recycling, providing him with a versatile set of values and skills that he applies in his daily work with us. So feel free to ask him any questions you might have about these topics! Not only is Kasper great at his job, but he also brings amazing energy to the office, always with a big smile and ready for a pep talk. As a side note, he also has one of the cutest dogs—if you’re lucky, he might show you more pictures! He’s such a huge part of the team, and we’re very lucky to have him here.
