    1664 is thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration with the globally renowned artist André Saraiva, also known as Mr. A.    The collaboration with 1664 will feature a “creative takeover” of the beer's labels and packaging, showcasing André’s graffiti style as if spray-painted directly onto the existing 1664 bottles and merch.    Instead of transitioning from street art to gallery exhibitions, André has chosen to integrate his artistic vision into the nightlife scene.     Carlsberg partners with the biggest advertisers and social platforms (Google, Meta, Pinterest, TikTok and X) to prevent underage drinking.   Through the International Alliance for Responsible Drinking (IARD) and WFA, World Federation of Advertisers, Carlsberg is teaming up with multiple social media giants to strengthen the standards of online alcohol advertising.   A fundamental issue is users misrepresenting their age when signing up to social media platforms, making it more difficult to avoid underage people when advertising.   But new technology, like AI-powered age-verification, might just solve the problem 💡   Learn more in this interesting BeverageDaily piece: https://lnkd.in/d9wSTmnj   Carlsberg Group is working #TowardsZERO irresponsible drinking by 2030, among other initiatives through adding age-gates to all our social media channels.

    Carlsberg Asia has partnered with three major e-commerce platforms to unveil a region-wide #CelebrateResponsibly campaign.   In partnership with three of Asia’s major e-commerce platforms - Grabfoodpanda, and Meituan – Carlsberg Asia looks to transform how consumers enjoy beer.   Carlsberg will tap into the extensive ecosystem and hyperlocal insights of these partners to deliver the important message:   To discourage consumers from driving under the influence of alcohol and encourage them to make drinking occasions and beer moments safe and enjoyable. “Carlsberg is delighted to partner with three of Asia’s leading e-commerce apps to deliver quality drinking experiences responsibly,” says Arindam Varanasi, Vice President, Commercial Asia, Carlsberg.    “Through these exceptional collaborations, we will emphasise the importance of celebrating responsibly,” he adds.   Digital transformation is central to the Carlsberg Group’s Accelerate SAIL growth strategy.     Semen Kulyk is a Ukrainian war refugee, who - after a long and dangerous journey - found his way to Home of Carlsberg, where he takes care of our brewery horses. And he's one of the best coachmen we've had 🐴     It wasn't a given that Semen should end up in Denmark, let alone in the stables of Carlsberg. However, with a childhood filled with memories of his family's horses and a tragic reason to leave his home country, this is how his fate ultimately unfolded.   Upon arriving in Denmark after travelling 6000 kilometers, he landed an internship at the Royal Stables, where the horses of the Royal Danish family lives and trains. It was quickly rumored that Semen was an absolute natural in taking care of the majestic animals - calm, collected, kind. Which meant that of course, we wanted to offer him a job.   "When I arrived in Denmark, I couldn’t even imagine that I would work with horses here. Københavns Erhvervshus helped me get an internship at the Royal Stables. After the internship, I came to Home of Carlsberg, where I met amazing colleagues who helped me with all things. After a while, I was given the opportunity to learn something new. I liked it, and I tried harder.     Carlsberg and Brooklyn Brewery launch first ever beer with drought-resistant fonio grain instead of barley 🌾🍻 To spotlight the ancient West African grain, fonio, and its untapped brewing potential, Carlsberg has created a brand-new type of beer that uses only fonio grains, without the use of any barley or bittering hops. The grain, which has thrived in West Africa for over 5,000 years and is widely used in African cooking, can survive in poor soils and is drought-resistant. The new Fonio beer was brewed in collaboration with Brooklyn Brewery as part of its ‘Brewing for Impact’ campaign. The new brew demonstrates what can be achieved when new brewing techniques and ingredients meet curiosity, a mindset that has been at the forefront of everything Carlsberg has done since it opened the brewery doors in 1874. “Fonio is an amazing West African grain but it presented several technical challenges for us to learn from and overcome - especially as there are no recipes for a beer like this. However, the extremely clean, crisp beer we’ve made is sure to set curious minds ablaze as we continue to test the potential of fonio in brewing and beyond,” says Zoran Gojkovic, Director of Brewing Science & Technology, Carlsberg Research Lab.
