The Premium segment has become one of the strongest performers in our portfolio, thanks in no small parts to 1664 Blanc. In the brand's biggest collaboration yet, the globally renowned artist André Saraiva, also known as Mr. A., has decorated the beer's labels and packaging in his graffiti style in a "creative takeover". 1664 strives to show up where other beer brands do not by captivating consumers with one of a kind cultural collaborations that celebrate bold individuality and expression within fashion and the arts. Learn more about this match made in graffiti heaven between 1664 and Mr. A. in this interview 💙 #1664Blanc #Andrex1664

Before there was PBR, there was RWB (Red, White & Blue Beer.) Vinepair calls it “the brewed equivalent of a White Castle slider: dirt cheap, somewhat satisfying, and American as it gets.” It was literally born on the 4th of July in 1899. It was the beer of choice for Milwaukee college kids at a dive bar that was famous for the “naked beer slide.” With a killer retro design, we’re wondering why this doesn’t still exist in our lives. (In this case, wondering is pronounced “begging.”) So we’re putting this out to the universe. We’ll help bring this brand back. Make it an LTO for the 4th of July, one of the biggest beer-selling holidays of the year. Make it available for the Summer Olympics. Heck, let’s start a petition to make the naked beer slide an Olympic sport. Together, maybe we can bring this once-storied beer back. Who’s with us? Let’s gooooo! Ahem. We’re back (and maybe a little winded). In other links for this week’s collection, we have minimalist collage art, out-of-this-world Oreos, a wine label design that may cause you to wrestle someone, and a discussion of big ideas from a big thinker. Plus, music from an alt rock band before that was even a genre: https://bit.ly/42g0hnp #destroyagency #practicallydangerous #creativity #advertising #strategy #design #instagram #packaging #branding #insights #beverageindustry #beer

Service Design for Systems Change | I. Senior Programme Manager, Global Development Initiative, CPI, BCG | Visiting Lecturer, University of the Arts London and UC Chile
"It is change within order which perhaps defines design" - Reflecting on "Designing Freedom" by Stafford Beer after a enriching conversation with Fodé Beaudet "Patterns—rigid or chaotic—are the stuff of the universe, therefore of both art and artifacts. The rigid patterns do not change at all. Wallpaper patterns, the triangle of the Sistine Madonna, the proportions of the Parthenon, the shape of a fugue, of a ballade, are like the pattern of an engine, of a computer, of an aircraft. Chaotic patterns change eternally. A waterfall or a thunderhead, the scurrying of ants, clouds, wind and sea. Atonal music and action painting, mobiles and the Aeolian harp, are matched in science by the alpha-particle, the collision of gas molecules, the noise of the radio star. What lies between rigidity and chaos, which both have their art and their science? It is change within order which perhaps defines design."

Ah, THE MET GALA, 2024!🎉 What lessons can be learned from this annual invitation only costume party described by many as frivolous, elitist and over the top? Well here are a few: >CONFIDENCE AT ANY AGE - At 27 years old, Zendaya owns every room she enters. Just look. >PERCEPTION ISNT ALWAYS REALITY- 2 years ago while waiting to board a flight from NYC to Rome, a familiar face wearing a chic floral dress, trademark dark glasses and a warm smile scanned the empty seats around me then approached to ask politely if she could sit next to me. #annawintour -no devil, no prada- she was lovely. > ANYONE CAN HAVE A MISSTEP, ADDRESS IT QUICKLY Confusion over a clash between the gala theme, "Sleeping Beauties, reawakening fashion" AND the official dress code, "Garden of Time" caused a media uproar. Is it a #Disney theme? Is it a nod to #GrimmBrothers? What is it? Well, it was neither. Combined with an apology, Anna explained that it was meant to be a nod to florals and springtime. How could the leader at #vogue, a publishing organization with access to the best writers and editors anywhere, NOT catch this messaging mixup? It happens to everyone. Leaders apologize quickly, explain, move on. >IT'S OK TO HAVE FUN! Creative expression taps our joy center. Film, fashion, dance, music, art, comedy or any other form of creativity allows us to express ourselves joyfully which makes us better at our work. #leadership #metgala #fashion #thedevilwearsprada
