    Taste the sweet side of sustainable coffee farming 🍯🐝 Climate change and the loss of biodiversity threaten coffee farms around the world. Though, recent studies show the impact bees can have on supporting the transition to regenerative agriculture and coffee farm productivity. In partnership with NESPRESSO and in line with their commitment to ensuring a quality coffee crop can survive in future generations, our Nestlé R+D Accelerator team has now developed an all-new honey range that unites its coffees with nectar from coffee blossoms. Introducing NESPRESSO Bloom's Coffee Blossom Honey and Coffee Blossom Honey Syrup. 💛 This launch builds on Nestlé’s R&D expertise in understanding, measuring and supporting the transition to regenerative agriculture with robust scientific tracking systems on NESPRESSO AAA farms. Harvested in Columbia from the same coffee plants that produce the beans for some of the favorite NESPRESSO coffees, the Coffee Blossom Honey has a very distinctive taste of dried bourbon vanilla, evolving into caramelized notes.     This month, Nestlé helped bring together experts from academia and the private sphere for a two-day symposium at the University of Lausanne - UNIL, exploring the field of skeletal muscle health.  The 2nd annual Symposium on the Neuromuscular System in Health and Diseases, co-organized by Nestlé Research, was an exciting opportunity for scientists from the private and academic sectors to exchange ideas around the importance of promoting and maintaining healthy skeletal muscles and the role of nutrition in healthy aging. Two Nestlé Research projects were presented during the symposium that showcased how innovative nutrition solutions can help manage muscle health, from recovery and regeneration to boosting energy. These projects were part of a fruitful collaboration between researchers from the Neuromyogène Institute in Lyon, the University of Padova and the Institute of Sport in Lausanne.  At Nestlé, the close work we do with leading academic institutions is key to our innovation success. By leveraging our science and technology expertise, Nestlé R&D is driving impactful nutritional solutions.

Building on our programs like the Nestlé Cocoa Plan and Rainforest Alliance certification.   A strong collaborative spirit across teams as well as a shared commitment to crafting a product with a signature taste were key to achieving this innovation.     🌱 As part of Nestlé’s effort to strengthen coffee the coffee supply chain, we are introducing a new high-yielding Arabica coffee variety. By using traditional breeding methods, Nestlé plant scientists and agronomists have developed Star 4⭐  This new variety was selected in Brazil for its resilience and possesses the characteristic taste of Brazilian coffee.
