Introducing the SMART modularized control system 🖥️. In order to empower the modularity in SHL’s SMART – Semi-Modular Automatic Robot Track 🔩, the software system that controls the SMART also requires the efficiency and agility to enable the fast development of assembly sequences for different projects. As shown in the image below, the SHL Control Library also takes on the modular approach in holding several pre-developed assembly process controls that can be easily integrated into different SHL assembly systems, such as a high-volume, fully automated assembly machinery (FAAM) or a mid-volume SMART assembly machine. This modular take quickens software development, while also enabling easier migration of software programming between different assembly systems for the same device project. It’s Quick Tool Change technology and easy-to-operate Human Machine Interface also enables faster project changeover for lower downtime and higher machine use rate. 🍞Welcoming the annual food bank activity in Taiwan! 🥬🧀 For the third consecutive year, SHL Medical has partnered with the ANDREW charity association to help pack dry goods for people in need. Nearly 50 people from the Taiwan facility joined this meaningful event, with several colleagues bringing family members and kids to participate in this charitable act. SHL colleagues showed pure enthusiasm, demonstrating comradeship and teamwork, efficiently assembling cartons of food in an orderly manner. In the end, we achieved 540 packed boxes of food and dry goods. For over two decades, the ANDREW charity association has supported many low-income households in fighting hunger and providing access to quality education.
