This is Transition! The second quarter results of ZEN Energy’s research project deep-dives into corporate climate action and the knowledge and views of staff about their employer's efforts. Starting today, we will share key findings from our 'This is Transition' project. "A quarter (26%) of all Australian workers know about their company's climate action plan, while the rest either work for a company that is not acting or know little about what their employer is doing." We welcome our network's insights and reactions. Joining the conversation helps provide further insights we will all benefit from. South Australia is a global leader in the renewable energy transformation. ZEN was thrilled to sponsor the Clean Energy Council Member Mixer at the ILA and witness the dynamic exchange of ideas and innovations driving the renewable energy sector forward. It was also a fantastic opportunity for guests to hear and connect with industry leaders such as Sam Crafter, Chief Executive of Hydrogen Power SA, as he spoke about the pivotal role of the industry in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and the opportunity to scale South Australia’s leadership in the energy transition. We look forward to more collaborations and impactful events like this! #RenewableEnergy #Collaboration #EnergyTransition #SouthAustralia

ZEN’S EBITDA FOR FY24 IS $33.2M. The AFR today published an article on our results https://lnkd.in/gWiiFv6w. I would like to confirm we remain profitable with a competitively comparable profit number (excluding fair value adjustments) of $33.2M EBITDA and a Net Operating Profit After Tax (NOPAT) number of $15M. While this is below the guidance that we had given to our debt partners, we remain positive and profitable. We are an unlisted organisation and, as such, we share our information with our financial partners who are collaborating with us to realise our strategy. The number reported by the AFR in its headline is the non-cash, accounting practices’ impacted number that energy companies report as "below-the-line" items and has no cash, tax, or real earnings impacts.
