Congratulations again to QCS’ newest Australian Corrections Medal recipients after they recently received their awards from the Queensland Governor, Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM. After being named in the Australia Day Honours List, Superintendent Stephen Wright, Correctional Supervisor Renee Rieson and Community Corrections District Manager Geoffrey Robins attended ceremonies earlier this month at Government House in Brisbane and the Court House Gallery in Cairns. QCS Deputy Commissioner, Custodial Operations, Gary McCahon attended the Government House ceremony and expressed pride in the officers recognised. “We are extremely proud of Stephen, Renee and Geoffrey and the contributions they all make to protecting community safety, “Deputy Commissioner McCahon said. “Being recognised nationally is an honour they deserve, and I congratulate them on their achievements.” https://lnkd.in/gExJ8VMz Photographer: Stu Riley
