I took advantage of the long weekend and completed a painting of myself to go with the painting I did of Brandon.

settlers of catan

This past weekend I completed a different, much craftier, type of art project - Brandon and I made our own Settlers of Catan board.  Brandon cut the pieces out of wood, sanded and stained them, and then it was my turn to paint pictures on the pieces.  The lambs (not surprisingly) were my favorite.

We made all of the pieces needed for the game ourselves, except for the deck of cards which we bought.

 All set up and ready to play!
