Liquid Crystal Display(LCD)

LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is a type of display that needs a light source to display information.
The amount of light produced by the Back Light Unit(BLU) attached to the back of the panel is adjusted
using a liquid crystal to create the required amount of light, and the color is expressed through a color filter.

IPS Technology

Liquid crystals that control light intensity are commonly categorized into three operating methods.
LG Display has adopted and applied In-Plane Switching (IPS) technology to LCDs,
which uses a horizontal liquid crystal array to achieve a wide viewing angle, excellent image quality, and a stable screen.

Conventional Narrow viewing angle The columns are arranged vertically, with the three center columns magnified in red. Below them are pictograms of three people, with their fields of view graphically represented, but only the center person's field of view is colored red, suggesting that the image quality is only clear from the front.
IPS Wide viewing angle The columns are arranged horizontally, with the three center columns enlarged in red color. Below them are pictograms of three people, with their fields of view graphically represented. All three people's fields of view are colored red, suggesting that they provide the same image quality from different angles.
