SEOUL, Feb. 4 (Korea Bizwire) - Hyundai Motor Group said Tuesday it received high praise at recent major automotive awards in Britain and the United States, winning multiple honors across its three automotive brands.
At the 2025 What Car? Awards, a prestigious British automotive awards event, Hyundai and Kia secured seven wins, with key models, including the Ioniq 5N, Casper Electric, Santa Fe and EV3, named best models in their respective categories.
Kia’s Sportage sport utility vehicle (SUV), in particular, won in the best family SUV category for the third consecutive year.
In the 2025 Editors’ Choice Awards by Car and Driver, a U.S. automotive publication, Hyundai Motor Group won 23 awards, with the group’s premium car brand Genesis receiving multiple accolades in the luxury segment.
The South Korean group also achieved seven wins in the 2025 Best Cars for the Money Awards by U.S. News & World Report. Notably, the Avante Hybrid, known as Elantra Hybrid in America, was named best hybrid car for the fourth consecutive year.
