I've been Nominated

As you all know this blogging ish is new to me. However, in this short time, I have met a few great gals via blogging that I am entertaining relationships with on twitter and I read their blogs daily.
One of them is........
Kim over at K.O. Jewelry  She has nominated me to complete a questionnaire.  This questionnaire is appointed to bloggers whom have under 200 followers. I am one of those and I assure you that when I hit 100 followers, I have a fabulous giveaway for all my Wine-hos that will make you want to follow
me :)
In turn of me completing these questions, my goals are to be noticed by other bloggers, to be read by other bloggers and to ultimately be followed by other bloggers ;)
Kim makes jewelery, hence the name. Her stuff ranges from dressy to business and everyday casual. On Fridays she has discounts via Twitter. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to share that but check out her Etsy Shop. She also does custom pieces upon request! And the question(s) is/are?

 1) What would you do if you just had one day left to live?
Keep it a secret. I'd also prefer not to know. I have anxiety.

      2)  Do you like to have a plan or just play it by ear?
I would love to say plans. but I can't. I'm the most indecisive, last minute, change your minder ever! It's actually pretty annoying. I like to have a round about idea and then just fly with it. It's like dating, committed but not really.

       3) Sweet, salty, savory, or sour?
SALT. I love salty stuff. Not sweet and salty, not salty savory. just salt. I went on a macrobiotic diet about 8 years ago and withered away into a cornstalk. I had cut all salt out of my diet. Once I started adding it back in, I became super sensitive to the stuff. I swear my nose gets puffy, my wrists get swollen, I retain a shit load of water........but. it. is. so. good.

4)What's your favorite holiday?
I would say my birthday. That might sound selfish but it's totally true. It's also not a holiday but it was to my mother and father ;)  I love that when on your birthday, you feel special. Even if people don't know it's your bday, you still feel like a big deal. It's my birthday bitches! PLUS I love prizes.

5)Best happy music?
I have two picks. One of my favorite types of music to wind down to and take a bath with is Big band. For some reason that music just strikes a chord with me. I love to cook with it too.
On the other hand, Ice Cube "You can't do it put your back in to it", also makes me very happy.

6)How would you define your style?
Ever changing. I have no reservations with what I choose to wear. If I like it I wear it. If you have it and I like it, I'll wear it. If nobody's wearing it, and I like it, I'll still wear it. I like heels and sexy stuff on the weekend nights, maybe even show some boob salad. And yoga pants and a waffle thermal on the weekend days.

7)If you only could eat one food for a month, what would it be?
If this sentence ended in "and would not get fat" It would be Kraft macaroni and cheese
because it doesn't, I will say sushi.

        8)Books or movies?
Books. They hold your mind to it's own imagination and nothing can beat that.

9)You're going on a 7 hour drive. What do you do?
Worst road trip passenger ever. I either sleep or sing. Which at some points you will wish me to sleep. I have a man voice.

10)What was your favorite grade in school and why?
I would probably say 4th. I loved my 4th grade teacher. She always had us bringing home some class room critter. And she loved show and tell. She had this reward system using Paddington dollars and I thought Paddington bear was great. If you got enough Paddington dollars you could pick a prize.
Her husband was 6'4". She has us measure him with paper clips and on Fridays we would watch "Voyage of the MIMI".

Happy Dirty Thirty Two recap

As you already know, if you've been reading, that this past weekend was my bday weekend!!!!
To kick it off, of Friday I received these guys in the mail!!!

YAY
These are May books. Click on the link or just google em!
These yearly calendars are just the cutest little personalized books!!! They were super easy to make. The website has sooooooo many different ideas!

Saturday we went to my favorite place for dinner, ZEN. It's a sushi restaraunt that has a Hibachi section. If you are my friend on Foursquare, then you will see that we check in this place at least twice a week!!! NOM  NOM NOM Omgeeeeeeee!!! It's so yummy. We had a party of 9 and all sat at the same hibachi table. Might I add, that if you are afraid of your eye brows singing off this probably isn't for you.

Outfit for the night!!
Candies Booties!!!

Jacket-Rue21, Leggings-Target, tshirt-Target!
Josh having a "sexy drink" He says that he feels sexier as he drinks it lol!

This is the "say goodbye to your eyebrows" part that I was talking about.
saki
You also don't usually end up walking out of this place straight.

Did you say presents?

Blue? suede? heels? clearance? YES!!! These were a present to myself ;)

a PINK sewing machine from mom, YES ITS PINK!!!!!! <3 br="br">

Steady sticks to hold your wine/bottle while your outside so that you don't have to put em on the ground. GENIUS!!!

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST............................

TADAAAAAA
The hubs found this great beat up but classy wine "burea" as I like to call it. He filled it with 24 different kinds of wine. 12 white, 12 red. Holy Moly do I owe that man BIG TIME!!!

Because Saturday night was so much fun, this is what we did on Sunday.......
Which was TOTALLY worth it considering the Pats finally won a game. However, I'm pretty superstitious and I think they won because I fell asleep through the entire second half. lol.

And Monday was my actual birthday. October 1st. The hubs took me to one of my favorite restaurants and we went home and snuggled. I'm positive that I have the best husband in the world!!!

Thanks so much to my sweet bloggy and twitter friends for all of the birthday wishes!!! This year my birthday was truly blessed with the best of family and friends anyone could have!

Heading to Patriots Place this weekend to shop with my sister!!! The hubs says that I'm "shoe-cut off". We'll see about that. Watch out now!!!

Weekend Recap-Winning some Lottery and a Backiotomy

This past weekend was an unplanned blast! The hubs unfortunately hurt his back really bad at work last week and will be out for at least 2 weeks. LUCKY.  Poor guy might need a backiotomy. I'm pretty sure after the third day he was home, he was bat shit stir crazy!!! This is what tipped me off........

After 3 grueling hours of clipping and dipping, here is the before and after

Puppa is so happy! It's like he's a new man. Hey, we all know how a new do makes us feel sexy!!!

On Friday I went to the beach for a few hours to add to my tan
before us Northeasternahs get bombarded with the brisk fall weather.
Silver Shell Beach, Marion
Friday night was the unexpected fun :) We met up with a few friends and brought Mummsie along for some sushi!!! It was her first time, so we got her a little buzzed to make the raw fish experience a little easier. I could honestly eat sushi everyday of the week (I just ate it an hour before I wrote this post) lol. We pre-gammed at the house for a few and then enjoyed some wine, laughs and rolls.
Josh and Mom

YUM

Saturday was another beautiful weather day! My sister and I went out for "Sister Saturday", which usually involves sisterly bonding, responsible day drinking and responsible spending. Because we had Gimpy (the broken hubs) with us this Saturday, we only went for lunch. But when I say only, I mean we ONLY won $205.00 bucks between keno and scratch tickets!!! I'm sorry, I'm bragging, but WOOT WOOT! So now we will be adding gambling to our list of Sister Saturday Festitvies. Winning this money does not help me at all right now with saving money, considering I've been holding out on buying the Naked palette and Kenzo perfume, an easy $160 at Ulta. Saving is sooooooooooooooooo hard!!!!

Saturday night Josh and I sat out for a fire and relaxed. I hope that he feels better soon. He is one of those guys who doesn't really want to tell you that he doesn't feel good. Unless it's the common cold, then you would think he has the plague. We wrapped the night up with some Scattegories. If you haven't played this game, it is so much fun. Apparently I think/thought that Samuel L Jackson was a political figure, and Josh thought that the empire state building is called the Entire State Building. He defends himself with "Ya know, I meant the whole thing" bahaha. Board games on a Saturday night, man we are getting old.

"pigs are flying and hell is freezing over"

Back to work tomorrow after a long, relaxing, uneventfully awesome weekend ! We are all pooped!!! Sometimes the less you have planned the more fun you have. Go with the flow is my new motto.

Feel free to follow me on Instagram-{Armywife80} before my pics hit the blog and thanks for stopping by!
