friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another,:

the kids did surprisingly well on the way up

{& on the way back for that matter}

to utah.

nora g watched movies & did her sticker books & ate road trip snacks.

baby kayl ate & sat & ate & sat & played with road trip toys.

{only a few melt downs from my sweet guy.}

we stopped in moab to take a breather & play at the park.

it is the perfect halfway point.

we got to uncle benny & aunt kristina's home

{which is absoluetly gorgeous! more on my other favortie mcphees later}

&

about an hour later two long lost friends came over,

with three sweet tooth fairy cupcakes.

so yummy!

freaky friday

ah friday.

i'm not gonna lie, it was.

i am stuck with this horrendous cough.

when people cough in public, i start to freak out.

{mostly in a church setting, coughing people all in one room... sick.}

so now i am freaking myself out.

okay, enough complaining.

on a completely different subject.

i have this photo hanging on my fridge.

makes me smile every time i look at it.

i would be lost without this woman.

she saves me from going to crazytown everyday.

she listens to me complain,

cry,

laugh,

vent,

talk crap,

& still loves me.

i love her.

i always tell her she's my best friend.

i know she thinks i am joking,

because we always laugh afterwards,

but its true.

she is one of my best-s.

baby boy mcphee

the moment a child is born, the mother is also born. she never existed before:

last weekend one of my best friends threw me

the most beautiful baby shower.

ah, it was perfect. i loved everything about it.

she nailed the decorations, the presentation, the food, the drink, the party favors...

pretty much everything.

i loved it.

my mr. mcphee came with my little tiny to capture the event.

they left mid party to take care of some father daughter business.

but i am going to let the photos speak for themselves.
