The search continues for two male suspects responsible for a shooting incident that has left a teenage male dead on Saturday.

According to reports, shortly after 9 a.m., a male was walking through a road off Peardale Manor, when two male occupants of a silver Honda Accord car armed with handguns, approached and shot him before speeding off.

The victim was pronounced dead on the scene. Police confirmed that the victim was on bail for a serious offence and was being electronically monitored.

Officials have not released his identification but The Journal understands that the deceased is 17-year-old Tavaris Deveaux.

Investigations are ongoing.
