Hello sweeties,
The movie-star glamour of the 20's is being remade in my mind and absolutely inspired while I was seeing the first series of Broadwalk Empire.
Broadwalk Empire's custom-made suit with current creations - in pictures I am thinking about 2008's designer pieces, but I flavoured older and newer creations, for example flowery bridal gown by Yves Saint Laurent from 1999, iconic - from 21th century.
Look at my pics!
Fur, fringes and feathers that was, yes especially the side of clothes, necktie, collar and bottom of skirt or dress. Dress waistlines is falling away from empire and mid-waist styles. So Parisian style at this movie as the little shop, 'Belle Femme'. In terms of fashion, the 20's provided women with the choice to either play up or play down their femininity. They could choose girlish curls and matte makeup paired with red lipstick. Oh how I love red lipstick and slicked hair of course. Gorgeous slips with beautiful kimonos and so on. The latter was typical of this film.
Enjoy my montage!
Enjoy my montage!
