I’m an
Assistant Professor in Popular Culture. My current research project is on
the phenomenon of James Bond, or more specific: fans collecting movie
posters, novels, props, and other memorabilia from the world of 007.
I was delighted to find your site of the
James
Bond
Museum
online. To my knowledge, this is the only museum dedicated to James Bond
(apart from temporary exhibitions such as ‘For Your Eyes Only’ in the
Imperial
War
Museum
). Therefore, I’m thinking of traveling to
Sweden
to visit your museum. Would you care to give an interview during my visit?
This would greatly benefit my research project. It would take about 15
minutes of your time.
Your webpage also lists the members of your James Bond Museum Fan Club. Is
it OK if I mail these members and ask if they would like to cooperate with
my research project? I could interview them by phone.
There are no commercial interests; I’m purely interested in the museum
& the fan club from an academic point of view.
