Founded in 1983
as “Interpack and Display”, IPD Packaging Company embarked on its journey with a singular goal: to establish itself as a distinguished Thai entity specializing in the creation of luxury packaging solutions, including jewelry and watch boxes for renowned brands, catering to a global clientele. Driven by a conviction in the unparalleled craftsmanship of the Thai people, which stands shoulder to shoulder with the finest globally, IPD Packaging has been fueled by an unwavering aspiration from the outset to ascend as the foremost authority and trailblazer in the luxury packaging sector. This ambition is encapsulated in our motto, "We make the world takes…"
Year 1991
Spanning over 14 rai (22,400 square meters) along Nawamin Road, the IPD Factory complex, initially comprising just three factories, kicked off its operations in 1983 with a modest team of 25 employees, focusing on the niche craft of enveloping plastic frame boxes. Fast forward more than four decades, our journey has not only been about diversifying our product range beyond box manufacturing but also about fostering a workforce marked by efficiency, quality, and profound expertise. Embodying our ethos, "IPD Packaging: More Than Just Packaging," we have now grown to four factories, powered by over 3,000 adept professionals. These skilled artisans excel in creating an array of products, from the traditional plastic frame covered boxes to sophisticated paper, plastic and wooden frames.
Year 2001
The company has been awarded the ISO 9001:2008 certification for its quality management system. This certification underscores our commitment to a standard of management that encompasses a broad range of activities involved in the production and delivery of our products. Our focus on quality service and the ongoing enhancement of our quality management system are central to our mission of achieving and exceeding customer satisfaction.
Year 2010
The company has also been granted FSCTM certification (FSC-C084794), reflecting our adherence to the standards set forth for responsible forest management. We are committed to maintaining production and distribution practices that involve products derived from wood, including paper, ensuring they meet the rigorous standards of sustainability and environmental stewardship.
Year 2022
Beyond fostering opportunities for both ourselves and everyone within our company, we place great importance on contributing positively to society. We are committed to empowering marginalized groups, such as the elderly and children with disabilities, rural schools and hospitals, by initiating projects that offer them meaningful employment opportunities, thereby enhancing their quality of life. Our goal is to ensure that these individuals enjoy the same social inclusion and opportunities as everyone else.
Year 2023
In 2023, IPD Packaging Company proudly marks its 40th anniversary. On this significant milestone, we reaffirm our dedication to societal and environmental welfare. Our initiatives include enhancing green spaces within our factory premises, undertaking afforestation projects on Koh Samui, escalating the use of solar energy, transitioning from oil to electric power sources, minimizing waste, and curtailing travel to lessen our carbon footprint both internally and across our supply chain. We believe in seizing every opportunity for sustainable development and growth, aiming to serve as a role model for our community and inspire future generations.
