Pumpkin Mug of Flowers

I was so excited to get this stand alone Pumpkin Mug Die and immediately used it for a bouquet of flowers.  However, the florals I chose appear to be discontinued, sorry about that.
I'm using this mug to make tags for Halloween treats, so stay tuned.

The flowers and mug are all colored with Copic markers.
The sentiment is from Boos Inside which has a miniature version of this pumpkin cup.  The ghost and pumpkin on this bundle is sooooo cute!

Guest Designer For Ellen Hutson Featuring Strawberry Fields

Hello friends!
Today I'm the featured guest artist on the Ellen Hutson blog with a couple of products from her latest release.

Berry Basket Die
Strawberry Fields Stamps and Dies

I have a couple of tricks for you when using these products, starting with stamping the strawberries.

I stamped them first with Concord & 9th Poppy ink and then used a sponge dauber to load up a bit of Cranberry ink and shade the bottoms and sides of the strawberries before stamping again.  This adds a little depth to the berries.

Once you have die cut the berries, turn them over on a mat and use a ball stylus to gently rub the center in a circular motion.  You will see the strawberries start to cup a little.  That is what you want.  Add a Foam dot or square to the center of the backside.  That will allow you to adhere the berries to your card and retain the shape.

Do the same with the little flowers.

When assembling the basket, it is easiest if you lay the pieces out on something straight, I've used grid paper here, and adhere them by the tabs.  This way when you fold it up, they are straight and will go together very easy.

For the finishing touches, I've hand cut a tag to add the strawberries on.  I did a little bit of stenciling with River Rock Stencil from Honey Bee Stamps,. The hello is stamped in Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder.  Finally I tied a piece of ribbon around the basket and attached the tag.

All of the products I've used are available in the Ellen Hutson Shop.

New Essentials By Ellen From Ellen Hutson

Essentials By Ellen has some super cute new products that are available today!
I have a few things to show you but be sure to head over to the Ellen Hutson site to see it all.

I love my little All Inside bear from her line and I really love all the add ons that she releases.

This card is from the the Bear Ware Dress Up 1 Stamps and Dies and I've dressed him us as a fireman.  This set has dress up for a pilot, fireman, police, hairdresser, cook or chef and a nurse of medical professional.

There is a new sentiment set that goes with these two called, Bear Ware Dress Sentiments.

For this one, I used the Bear Ware Dress Up 2 Stamps and Dies, which has dress up for a teacher, farmer and a business person.  Plus a couple of mix and match options that could easily be other dress ups.

I've used them all on this card.  I cut the basket off so it fit the card front and filled it with strawberries.  Cut 4 pieces and adhere them together to make an actual full size basket.  It's sooo cute!

Head over to Ellen Hutson and see all the things she is releasing today!

Valentine Crackers

These are super easy to make, fill and mass produce if you are needing to make class Valentine's or multiples for any occasion.  These could be dressed up to be pretty wedding favors too.

This die was released before Christmas and is a three sided triangle cracker if you just cut it once.  If you cut it twice you get these six sided larger crackers like these.

I have these filled with Lindor chocolates.  This size could hold maybe 15 or so Hershey Kisses, a rolled up pair of socks, a small manicure set.  I like this larger size.

Also used on these projects are Small Sayings sentiment set and Stacking Hearts dies.
The patterned paper is American Crafts brand and I bought it at Joann's.

Holiday Springs Card & Gift Box

I have a card and matching gift box made with the Holiday Sprigs Stamps & Dies that released last week at Ellen Hutson.

I love this little Two In One Box Die!

Designed with a "cut two, flip one" approach to assembly, the Two-in-One Box Die Set creates a box that's either "portrait" or "landscape", by simply changing which tabs you choose to adhere. The die perfectly fits 6x6 patterned paper; or die cut from white and decorate with stamps. This adorable box is perfect for sweet treats or a small gift. Additional design elements have been included for decorating, like stitched panels (and a cute tag). Not just for layering, the small panel dies can be used to wrap small candies too!
I added foliage from the Holiday Sprigs Stamps & Dies along a strip of black cardstock.

For the card, I started with the tag from the Tag Trio Die Set.  I adhered die cut snowflake from the Snowflake Dies to the tag for texture since the whole thing is white.
I then built the wreath from cut pieces of Holiday Sprigs Stamps & Dies.

Head over to Ellen Hutson to see this release plus all the other brands she carries in her one stop shop!

Essentials By Ellen Winter + Christmas Release

Ellen Hutson has a new Essentials by Ellen release and there are some super cute things!

I have the Cup of Cheer (by Julie Ebersole) set to show you today .

Funny story- I didn't know what drink bottles these were, so I loaded up my stamp set and went to the liquor store. The lady was so kind and had so much fun matching them up.  She loved the stamp set! None of them are truly drink specific, they're just drawings but she definitely wanted to see the finished project...so I returned to the liquor store and gave it to her!

I made a drink carrier for 4 of the little bottles of liquor and use all the images in the stamp set.  They're all colored with Copic markers.

Cup of Cheer Stamps & Dies

The holly is from the beautiful Holiday Sprigs Stamps & Dies
I have a project next week with this set, it's soooo pretty!

The card uses all the same images and sentiment from the
Cup of Cheer Stamps & Dies with just a little bit of ink blending behind it.

Be sure to head over to the Ellen Hutson shop and see all the new things!

There is also a fun stamp set free with a $75 order.  It is automatically added to your order, you do not need a code.
