Wolf attacks in Bahraich: Orders have been given to shoot the wolf, says CM Yogi

Bahraich (UP), September 15 (ANI): On September 15, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted an aerial survey of the areas in Bahraich affected by wolf attacks. He addressed the local residents, noting that several casualties had occurred in the region over the past two months due to the threat posed by wolves. He also mentioned that he had ordered a campaign to capture the animals. “There have been some casualties and some children have also been injured by wolves in this area due to the terror of wolves for about the last 2 months... I had immediately instructed the administration to launch a campaign for this... 5 wolves have been rescued and one wolf has not been caught”, said CM Yogi. “Our 165 forest department teams are present here...the first priority is to rescue the wolf...4 thermal drones have been deployed here...if violence is seen there, orders have been given to shoot the wolf before it causes casualties but this is the last option”, he added.
