Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion Launches on Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC

Outright Games today announced that much-anticipated open world adventure game, Adventure Time: Pirates of Enchiridion, is available starting today on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation4, Xbox One and PC for $39.99.  Based on Cartoon Network's award-winning TV series, Adventure Time, the game is rated E10 for Everyone and is  available at retail locations and first-party digital stores in the US starting today, July 17th and will launch globally July 20th.

KidRobot Proves Adventure Time is NOT DEAD!

Sure, the shine might be off if this fancy bauble, but Adventure Time is still one of the best and most creative animated series in existence...and to my knowledge...it's still airing! While we are still not getting the ultimate action figure line I had always hoped for, KidRobot is making up for this gaping hole on the toy shelves with some ridiculously fun blind box figures and mind blowing art vinyl that will have you throwing money at the screen.

Sweet Suite 2016: LEGO Dimensions Fall Preview & Ghostbusters Story Pack Demo!

 Sweet Suite! The enigma of the toy industry bringing a room full of blogger mommies together with..well..me. ...and maybe 4 more guys. This year's toy preview was held on a boat...which wasn't the greatest environment for steady pictures or great lighting, but what the scene lacked in optimal photographic circumstance, it more than made up for with an abundance of amazing toys (and loads of food and drinks! Everyone knows the quickest way to a poor reporter's heart is through his stomach...and to get him drunk. Always get reporters drunk.) LEGO was on hand to show off their latest LEGO Dimensions wave featuring Adventure Time, The A-Team, Harry Potter, Mission Impossible and the female lead Ghostbusters 2016 movie crew! Only LEGO could bring a group like that together, allowing geeks to live out their wildest fantasies where Jake the Dog teams up with BA Baracus, Marty McFly and Batman to destroy the fiendish plot of Lord Business!!! ....Now that's a movie I'd watch for the rest of my life. Cartoon Network’s Epic Fall TV Lineup is Coming to New York Comic Con

Who wants some more MARCELINE? Are you ready for THE ROYALS? How about Regular Show... the MOVIE? Cartoon Network is bringing all of these and MORE to New York Comic Con 2015! With panels, signings, screenings and costume contests, fans will get exclusive insider info on Cartoon Network’s anticipated fall lineup.

This year at New York Comic Con, Cartoon Network presents two epic panels starting with Adventure Time on Friday, October 9, followed by Regular Show on Saturday, October 10. During the Adventure Time panel moderated by Uncle Grandpa’s Eric Bauza (Belly Bag), New York Comic Con fans will get a first look at the special eight-part series “Stakes,” live with the cast and crew, before it airs on Cartoon Network this Fall. Regular Show fans can join series creator JG Quintel (Mordecai) and the rest of the cast and crew to catch scenes from Regular Show: The Movie, coming to Cartoon Network in November 2015. Adventure Time: Frost and Fire DVD Reviewed

Cartoon Network has always been a wild card in the field of animation. When the lunatics at Adult Swim roll out a new live action series, we know it's going to be fairly insane without even having to see a trailer. That's just what they do. When it's a new animated project, there's a 50/50 chance you'll get head scratching ridiculousness or borderline brilliance. The shows that come to Cartoon Network's daytime lineup can also go either way, and if given the chance, may even evolve in maturity and tone. Adventure Time is one such amazing creation.

After continually being surprised by hysterical and somewhat adult moments found in random episodes, I interviewed the creators of Adventure Time and asked who they thought the show was for, . The answer was "It's for us!" This idealistic/ artistic view would somewhat give way as millions of children across the globe latched onto the show, hungry for all the merchandising that comes with a hit TV series. While the show didn't get dumbed-down, it was certainly made a few degrees safer for little eyes.

Adventure Time....THE MOVIE??!!

Days like this, I feel like someone is pranking me hardcore. Readers of Idle Hands over the years will attest to my love for the quirky, insane, completely random humor of the Adventure Time cartoon series...so when you tell me someone is working on a full length feature film with creator Pendleton Ward both producing and writing...my head explodes. Seriously...I'm headless right now. It's a mess.

Holy Schmow! Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom Available November 18th

Worldwide video game publisher, Little Orbit, together with Cartoon Network Enterprises, announced today that Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom has gone gold and is now in manufacturing.  The game will launch November 18, 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation TV, and Xbox 360, and will be available for download on Steam (PC), Nintendo eShop, The PlayStation Network and Xbox Marketplace Games on Demand. Developed by WayForward Technologies, the title is rated E10+ by the ESRB.
