Chicken Burgers from Meat the Chef - Broadgate Circle

Every now and then (and less frequently these days than I'd like) I discover a new burger venture that I hadn't previously experienced. Meat the Chef, a fried chicken specialist, has been serving out of a hatch in their trailer for over a year, and I stumbled across them in Broadgate Circle (Liverpool Street), just the other day.

They rotate with other recent additions to the Broadgate Circle street food group - Eat the Farm [review of their great Dirty Cow burger here]. But this one is all about chicken, so here's my run down on what Meat the Chef have to offer.

[Review] Eat the Farm streetfood burgers

Relatively new on the street food scene, Eat the Farm are showing their pedigree by popping up alongside Street Kitchen in Broadgate Circle next to Liverpool street station. Selling out of a converted VW van, with a bun toaster in the cab and surfboards for menus, these guys can be found every Thursday in Broadgate Circle (next to Liverpool Street station).

[Review] The Heartbreaker Burger from Tongue 'n Cheeks,

Tongue 'n Cheek is not your usual burger slinging, street food set up, oh no. They're focused on nose-to-tail eating, using the parts of the animal that don't tend to make it onto mainstream restaurant menus.
And at the heart of their offering (no pun intended) sits the Heartbreaker burger - a glorious blend of beef and ox heart.

I caught up with them at Kerb to find out how good their burgers actually are, but you can also sample their wares at The Joker on Penton St. in Angel.
