    Prepared this dish without Galangal and it tasted splendid. I added the bean curd into the main pot rather then separate it. Family and friends loved it. Thank you for sharing this recipe, it is as authentic as it gets. A taste of home.

    thanks my dad was a chef in singapore , bruni and a lot of asian countrys in the 60s and seventies when he would come home it
    was great eating all his new food suppose thats where i get my love

    A belated thank you for your kind message. Your recipe has become a staple now... a few days ago I cooked it again for some Chinese friends who were very critical and the most critical of them rated it as 100 points. It's a healthy recipe too!!

    Hello! I have a question that I am hoping you can answer. At our mall here in Columbia, MO we had this great little place that served Strawberry chicken. I would go there when ever I was out and about. It shout down, sigh!!! I have tried to find the recipe on line, I have tried to recreate the recipe, and failed, badly!!! Do you have a strawberry chicken recipe? I know the chicken was breaded and deep fried the covered in the best strawberry sauce on earth!!! TY for your time! Tuilelaith
