    Good little snacks. I think some minced garlic with the parmesan would be nice. Or maybe some Italian herb mix. More in IMI. 11/7/15

    Delicious! I had four thighs and I am not certain if one lemon would work with eight or not. The four of mine pretty much used up the lemon juice. I did add the angel hair pasta. I liked the buttery tomatoes. I've never had them that way before! I think some fresh basil would add a nice touch. I cooked my thighs at 375F for 50 minutes - didn't do the 450 route. Added this to IMI 11/29/14

    I used the ingredients listed, but switched up the mixing and baking methods a bit. I mixed the flour and sugar for the crust, then cut in the butter as you would for any kind of pie or bar crust. Lowering the baking temp to 325, which I do for all bar recipes I make, keeps the edges from overbaking before the center is done. A generous sprinkling of sliced almonds over the top before baking made these more visually appealing and added a nice little crunch. With my changes, I would definitely make these again! Prize Butter Bars UPDATE: Since the 3 oz. pkgs. of cream cheese have been discontinued, I made these again using 4 oz. of cream cheese (half of an 8 oz. package) and they were just as good as the first time around. Using half the package means you can make two batches of these yummies!
