Double Nut Chocolate Chip Cookies

These yummy cookies won't last long, better make a double batch
Ingredients
- 1 extra moist deluxe yellow cake mix shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter - melted shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 pkg (6oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips shopping list
- 1/2 cup fiely chopped pecans shopping list
- 1 cup sliced almonds - divided shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Grease baking sheets
- Combine cake mix, melted butter & egg in a large bowl
- Beat at low speed with an electric mixer until just blended
- Stir in chocolate chips, pecans & 1/4 cup almonds
- Shape rounded Tblspns dough into balls
- Place remaining 3/4 cup almonds in a shallow bowl
- Press top of each dough ball into the almonds
- Place 2 inches apart on baking sheets
- Bake for 9 - 11 mins or until lightly browned
- Cool 2 mins on baking sheet & then move to wire racks to cool completely
- Repeat until all dough is used

- NOTE:- To prevent cookies from spreading too much, allow baking sheets to cool completely before baking each batch or use several baking sheets
