Cube Steak Parmesan

- 3Tbs flour shopping list
- 1/2tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4tsp ground black pepper shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2Tbs water1/3c crushed saltine crackers(I like panko crumbs) shopping list
- 1/3c grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1/2tsp dried basil shopping list
- 3Tbs veg oil shopping list
- 4(4oz) beef cube steaks shopping list
- 11/4c canned tomato sauce(I like the sauce with seasonings) shopping list
- 21/4tsp white sugar shopping list
- 1/2tsp dried oregano shopping list
- 1/4tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 4 slices mozzarella cheese shopping list
- 1/3c grated parmesan cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350. In a shallow dish,stir together the flour,salt and pepper. In a seperate bowl,whisk together the eggs and water with a fork. In a thrid bowl,,ix together cracker crumbs or panko,1/3c parmesan cheese and basil.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over med heat. Dredge steaks in flour,dip in egg mixture,and coat with the cracker crumbs or panko mixture. Place in skillet and fruy till just browned on each side. Arrange steaks in single layer in greased casserole dish.
- Bake for 25 mins. in preheated oven. Meanwhile,in a medium bowl,stir together the tomato sauce,sugar,1/4tsp oregano and garlic powder. Spoon over the steaks when 25 mins. are up. Top each with mozzarella cheese and remaining parmesan cheese;sprinkle remaining oregano over the top..Bake 5 mins more or until cheese is melted and sauce is hot!
