smoked baby back ribs

- 2 slabs of baby back ribs shopping list
- trim off excess fat and remove membraine shopping list
- cover with your rub and wrap in saran wrap shopping list
- place in frigerator over nite shopping list
- the next day fire up the smoker shopping list
- i use charcoal with hickory or blue berrie wood shopping list
- put 4 apples in the water pan. cut in half shopping list
- put ribs on the rack at 225 degrees for 3 hours shopping list
- sprit every hour with apple juice shopping list
- during this 3 hours, be looking at where the meat and bone meet shopping list
- weatch to see if the meat pulls back , 1/8 to a 1/4 inch shopping list
- if this happens, wrap the ribs in tin foil with apple juice in the bottom of the pouch shopping list
How to make it
- cook for 2 hours....the 2 hour stage is critical to long and the meat will fall off the bone, to soon and the rib will be tough
- after 2 hours
- unwrap the ribs . this stage is to firm them up and baste them
- mop them with your fav. mop sauce for 1 hour
- take them off the grill and let them set up for 5 to 10 minutes
- then eat them up
