Cheese and Grits Casserole

- 4 cups water shopping list
- 1 cup old-fashioned grits shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter melted shopping list
- 2 eggs beaten shopping list
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon paprika shopping list
How to make it
- In large saucepan bring water to a boil then stir in grits and salt.
- Reduce heat then cover and simmer for 7 minutes or until thickened then cool slightly.
- Gradually whisk in milk, butter and eggs then stir in cheese, Worcestershire and cayenne.
- Transfer to a greased 2 quart baking dish then sprinkle with paprika.
- Bake uncovered at 350 for 35 minutes then allow to stand 10 minutes before serving.
