How to make it

  • In large saucepan bring water to a boil then stir in grits and salt.
  • Reduce heat then cover and simmer for 7 minutes or until thickened then cool slightly.
  • Gradually whisk in milk, butter and eggs then stir in cheese, Worcestershire and cayenne.
  • Transfer to a greased 2 quart baking dish then sprinkle with paprika.
  • Bake uncovered at 350 for 35 minutes then allow to stand 10 minutes before serving.
