Garlic Fried Pork Chops

- 1 package of thin cut pork chops (2 lbs brings about 8 chops) shopping list
- Adobo Goya shopping list
- 1/2 packet of Sazon w/ achiote shopping list
- 2 tbs lime juice shopping list
- 1 tbs red wine vinegar shopping list
- 4 garlic cloves minced or smashed in a Pilon (wooden mortar) shopping list
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper shopping list
- corn oil for frying shopping list
How to make it
- Rinse the pork chops with cold water and drain
- lightly season pork chops with Adobo Goya making sure both sides are seasoned (do not use to much)
- season pork chops in bowl with the Sazon. (You may use a little more Sazon depending on how thick the pork chops are)
- coat pork chops with lime juice and red wine vinegar
- Add garlic and pepper
- (Wash hands well with soap and water for next step)
- Rub in the seasoning with your hands making sure each pork chop is seasoned evenly with garlic and spices
- Refrigerate atleast 30 minutes to marinade meat. You may also leave overnight.
- Heat about 1cm of corn oil in pan
- Fry pork chops in single layer until each side is dark brown and garlic is toasted
- Remove from pan carefully and lay pork chops on plate lined with folded paper towels to drain out oil (press with paper towel to remove excess oil)
- Serve with white rice and beans
