How to make it

  • Cream oleo & sugar.
  • Add ingredients in order. (The last bit of the flour may need to be worked in by hand as the dough will be stiff.)
  • Make small balls the size of walnuts.
  • Place in 2-9" & 1-8" greased pans.
  • Bake 45 min. to 1 hr. @ 350F until light tan in color.
  • When cool, break into pieces.
  • Store tightly covered. These keep very well.
  • ***NOTE***
  • These cookies are NOT supposed to be round in shape after cooking. They will spread so that they can be broken apart.
