How to make it

  • Make dough by combining flour, egg, salt, water. Roll thin on floured board. Cut into 3" circles. Mix filling ingredients together-preferably while potatoes are hot so cheese melts nicely. Place 1 tbs potato mixture on half of circle and pull the other half over to make a half moon. Press edges together with a fork. Boil for 4 mins after they float in salted boiling water. After initial boiling, these can be fried if you'd prefer them fried. They can be frozen before boiling. Serve with sour cream, or topped with onions fried in butter. (Some people like apple butter on them)
