How to make it

  • Pour the rice into a 2-quart greased casserole or 9x13" pan.
  • In a large bowl or 4-cup measuring cup, combine the onion soup, oil and soy sauce. Add enough boiling water to make 4 cups.
  • Pour the liquid over the rice, add the drained mushrooms and green onions and stir lightly with a fork.
  • Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
  • (It cooks faster in the 9x13" pan so check earlier)
