Pickled Beets

- 1 c vinegar shopping list
- 1 c water shopping list
- 1/2 c sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp white pepper shopping list
- 3 c cooked beets, peeled and thinly sliced shopping list
- 1/2 tsp celery seed shopping list
How to make it
- Combine water, vinegar, salt, sugar, and pepper and bring to a boil in a non-reactive saucepan.
- Cool the 'brine'.
- Place beets in a glass bowl and sprinkle with celery seed.
- Cover with 'brine'.
- Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
