How to make it

  • Steam clams.
  • Cook vegetables in clam juice and enough water to cover them. Cook until tender.
  • While the vegetables are cooking, in another pot melt margarine.
  • Remove from heat and add flour; stirring constantly. Place on medium-heat and while stirring add half&half and milk. Continue stirring until thick.
  • Add sugar, pepper and clams.
  • Add the vegetables and juice.

    I could eat this whole pot! can't get clams fresh .. at least I don't think so.. but I can use canned right?
