Hippieladys Beer Cheese Soup

- 2 pounds American cheese shopping list
- 4 cups beer (5 if your a sampler cooker) shopping list
- 8 cups chicken stock shopping list
- 1/8 - 1/4 cup finely chopped onion (according to taste) shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter (soft) shopping list
- 1/2 cup flour shopping list
- dash white pepper (I prefer more than a dash, but it's to taste) shopping list
- Freshly popped popcorn shopping list
How to make it
- Grate all cheese
- Bring beer to a boil in large pan, reduce by approximately 1/2. Add chicken stock, pepper and onion, bring back to soft boil.
- In a separate dish, combine butter and flour and mix into a paste. Stir into the mixture. Boil for a few minutes longer
- Remove from heat. Add the cheese and stir well
- After serving into bowls, scattter freshly popped popcorn over the top. Not only does it hold in the heat, it is DELICIOUS
- Make 12 cups
