Smoothest Easiest Peanut Butter Fudge

- 1/2 cup butter (not margarine) shopping list
- 2 1/4 cups brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 3/4 cup peanut butter shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla (not extract ) shopping list
- 3 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar and milk. Bring to a boil and boil for 2 minutes(make sure it's no more/no less than 2 mins--it makes a difference!), stirring frequently. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter and vanilla. Pour over confectioners' sugar in a large mixing bowl. Beat until smooth; pour into an 8x8 inch dish. Chill until firm and cut into squares. I don't put mine in the fridge, I just leave it out. I usually make mine at night and then by the morning the fudge is set. The fridge just makes the fudge hard and flaky, which I hate!
